Grazia Carmela Salamone (Lyrical Soprano) was born in Catania on June 20, 1985.
In 2005, she was recognized for winning the local “Musicantando” competition for young talents. She began her opera singing studies privately at the age of 21 under the guidance of Prof. Pina Sofia, a faculty member of the V. Bellini Conservatory in Catania. She later continued her musical training with mezzo-soprano Francesca Aparo, a permanent artist in the choir of the Teatro Massimo V. Bellini in Catania, earning a solfège diploma and a preliminary singing diploma from the same conservatory in 2007.
She made her debut on June 3, 2007, performing a chamber music repertoire at the Teatro Bellini in Adrano, accompanied on the piano by Prof. Angela Barbagallo, interpreting famous chamber arias by Bellini and Caccini.
She continued her studies with light soprano Doriana Milazzo, soprano Maria Giovanna Lo Cicero, and baritone-composer Alberto Tomarchio, all permanent artists in the Teatro Massimo V. Bellini choir.
Her opera concert debut took place in November 2008, performing alongside baritone Paolo La Delfa and tenor Benito Nastasi for the Arcadia Association in Syracuse, where she sang famous arias by Verdi, Puccini, and Bellini.

- June 5, 2009: Performed as a guest in Sant’Agata Li Battiati for the Camerata Accentus association, led by artistic director Antonio Alioto, presenting renowned opera arias accompanied by Maestro Alfredo Spitaleri on the piano.
- February 2010: Performed alongside tenor Massimiliano Costantino at the E. Piscator Theater in Catania in the concert “Dall’Opera alle Canzoni”, accompanied on piano by Annalisa Mangano.
- 2011: Guest performer at the “Venere di Milo” event at the Milo Amphitheater, accompanied by the ERSU orchestra, conducted by Maestro Antonella Fiorino.
- February 2012: Auditioned for the Sicilia Operacademy for Verdi’s Requiem to be performed in Germany, receiving recognition for her outstanding vocal and interpretative skills.
- August 2012: Debuted in Catania and the Aci Bonaccorsi Amphitheater in operettas including Cin Ci Là (title role) and La Vedova Allegra (The Merry Widow, as Valencienne). The production was revived from December 29, 2012, to January 6, 2013, at the Fellini Theater in Catania, directed by tenor Edoardo Guarnera, with whom she continued touring Sicilian theaters for the following two years.
- March 2013: Starred in the operetta La Duchessa di Chicago, again under the direction of Edoardo Guarnera.
- March 2014: Debuted in the modern opera Il Sole Nero by Catanese composer William Grosso, playing Ines.
- September 2014: Performed with William Grosso at Taobuk at the Ancient Theater of Taormina.
- April 13, 2014: Won first prize at the Salvatore Fisichella International Opera Competition in Villata (Vercelli) and received the Vincenzo Bellini Special Award in the bel canto category.
- 2015: Toured throughout Italy with the Compagnia di Operette Italiana by Claudio Corucci, alongside tenor Massimiliano Costantino, starring in three of the most famous operettas:
- Il Paese dei Campanelli (role of Nela)
- La Vedova Allegra (role of Hanna Glawari)
- Cin Ci Là (role of Princess Myosotis)
Achieving great critical and audience acclaim.
- January 2016: Debuted at the Teatro Massimo V. Bellini in Catania in Fedra by Giovanni Paisiello, playing the role of Princess Aricia.
Current and Recent Engagements
For the past several years, she has been actively touring throughout Sicily with Edoardo Guarnera, receiving widespread success and recognition.
For the past four years, she has also been a featured performer in the Taormina Arte concert season with the Italian Opera Live lyrical company.
Currently, she continues vocal refinement and repertoire development under the guidance of the esteemed tenor Maestro Salvatore Fisichella, focusing on roles including:
