Andrea Casablanca was born in Messina.

He began his vocal studies with the tenor Antonio Bevacqua from Messina. In 2009, he graduated in singing from the “Arcangelo Corelli” Conservatory in Messina under the guidance of soprano Elisabetta Scatarzi. In 2012, he obtained a second-level degree in Opera Singing. From November 2010 to November 2012, he attended the Accademia Santa Cecilia “Opera Studio” in Rome as a full student, studying under the guidance of soprano Renata Scotto, Anna Vandi, and Cesare Scarton, performing in concerts within the Roman music scene.

He attended the Opera Studio as an external student at the Benevento Conservatory for the opera Il Barbiere di Siviglia, performing the role of Count Almaviva. In 2010, he made his operatic debut in Il Signor Bruschino (Florville), conducted by Maestro Antonino Fogliani and directed by Bruno Praticò at the Teatro Vittorio Emanuele in Messina.

He has performed in numerous concerts, receiving acclaim from both audiences and critics, collaborating with various groups and associations. He has performed with the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Lugansk, Ukraine, in concerts organized by the artistic and cultural association “Musicando” in Caltagirone, Canicattini Bagni, Taormina, and Milazzo. He has also performed with the “Mediterraneo Philarmonic Brass,” conducted by Maestro Michele De Luca, as part of the summer program of the Rotary International District 2010 Sicily – Malta, at the Ancient Theater of Segesta.

In 2011, he debuted in Rossini’s L’Occasione fa il ladro in the role of Count Alberto.

Since 2013, he has been a regular guest performer in concerts and shows of Italian Opera Taormina at the Teatro San Giorgio in Taormina.

In 2017, he played Count Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, directed by Pietro Ballo, for the third edition of the Scontrino International Festival at the E. Sollima Municipal Theater in Marsala.

His light lyric tenor voice allows him to perform a wide repertoire, including works by Rossini, Mozart, Donizetti, and more.
